Henry Benitez is an iNARTE certified Electromagnetic Compatibility Engineer with 35 plus years EMC experience.

He has a BSEE degree from the University of Portland and is a member of the University of Portland Electrical Engineering Faculty/Industry Advisory Board.
He is President of ElectroMagnetic Investigations, LLC, an electromagnetic compatibility test laboratory in Hillsboro, Oregon. Previous experience at Tektronix, Intel, and Hewlett Packard.
IEEE activities include five 3-year terms as IEEE EMC Society Board Director from 1998 through 2015. Formed IEEE EMC Oregon and SW Washington Chapter in 1996, Chaired Portland International EMC Symposium in 2006. Helped found the IEEE Product Safety Engineering Society (PSES) in 2004, served as PSES President (2006-2007), and Chaired the first PSES International Symposium in 2004.
He has industry experience on international (IEC) EMC standards making committees, regulatory committees (ITI) and as a representative on USA/ANSI liaison committees with the European Union.
He has published 30+ articles in technical magazines, colloquiums, workshops and conferences with presentations on EMC and Product Regulations topics at conferences in the United States, Europe and Asia.
Hobbies include playing racquetball, tennis, golf and other sports. He also enjoys travel. and family activities.
